Tell us a bit about yourself:
Hello my name is Darren “Daz” Jones (real name) I started playing vinyl as a teenager, this then led to gigs at clubs in his hometown including XS Club, whilst raving at Creamfields, Global Gathering & Glastonbury festivals. I then concentrated on other things including becoming a father to my 2 beautiful girls Honey & Luna aswell as setting up my my own wholesalers and bathroom showroom. 2022 I have restarted my DJing journey this sees me host two radio shows – the first being every Tuesday at 7pm on Club Ready Radio & a monthly residency on Ibiza Stardust Radio whilst kick-starting my own event “Funk My Life” event concept, which sees parties on the last Friday of every month in Harrogate, Yorkshire. Paul Taylor (Retro) huge influence House music is my main music joy along with all its offspring’s we have today Funky House Tech House and so on Mousse T literally everything this guy does turns to gold (in my eyes) Todd Terry goes hand in hand with the Retro days and those classic house tracks

What’s your favourite thing about Ibiza?
Touch down ….. but if I have to name one thing it would be the air there is something floating around the full island. If you are wanting a land mark Mambo sunset is the obvious choice
