Tell us a bit about yourself:
I am Lisa Kaye and I am from Copenhagen denmark. My passion in electronic music is my big love for Housemusic. I love a great bass and a cool vibe on top.
How did you get into DJing?
I have always had an urge to play music for myself and share music with other people. Both because of the music but also because I love to dance.
What DJs have had the most influence on you?
My inspiration comes from the club scene back in the 80ties and 90ties when I was living in new York City and where house music originated. It was such a cool vibe this is why I am into playing house. I want people to dance and be happy and feel inspired.
You’re being put to death, but you can listen to one last track before you die. What track do you choose?
I don’t know. Too many tracks to choose from.
What’s your favourite thing about Ibiza?
The music scene. The warm weather. The beach and the beautiful sunsets
What’s the easiest thing about being a DJ?
A DJ plays pre-recorded music. I am just playing other peoples music.
And what’s the hardest thing about being a DJ?
But so the hard thing about playing other peoples music is my choice of tracks and how I put them together to create exactly the vibe that will make people dance and not able to leave the dance floor no matter how hard they try.
Best thing about Dance Music culture right now?
When people really get into the groove and get an experience of that we are all part of that tribe called human beings.
Worst thing about Dance Music culture right now?
Sometimes to many drugs so people actually don’t get the total experience of the music and the energy
