Tell us a bit about yourself:
I’m Evan Duthie and I am a 21-year-old DJ & Producer from Aberdeen, living in Glasgow. My style is House/Techno but melodically influenced – think Hannah Wants/Hot Since 82! I’ve played around the UK at various festivals, Ibiza Rocks and the 02 Academy, and have gained support from the likes of Radio 1, MK, Pete Tong, and Annie Mac! My debut release reached was released during the lockdown on Glasgow Underground and reached #22 in the Beatport top 100 charts. My production skills have caught ears across the dance world with Hannah Wants (our etiquette), Wave & Odyssey (Street Tracks), and Kevin McKay (Glasgow Underground) quickly signing up releases with all receiving Radio 1 support and smashing the Beatport charts.
How did you get into DJing?
My parents were really into dance music in the early 90s and went to clubs and raves. My dad would get the DJ to record their set on tape and that’s what I grew up listening to! Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, John Digweed, Pete Tong, etc.

Annie Mac, Pete Tong, and Hannah Wants
