Tell us a bit about yourself:
Henry a.k.a. RYKOH is a German techno DJ from Rastatt in Baden-Württemberg. He discovered his enthusiasm for electronic music – especially techno – at the young age of 17 in Frankfurt. After his first rave in the cult club U60311, his taste in music manifested itself: T E C H N O.
He spent his teenage years watching his buddies DJ at the weekends. His affinity for technology and the urge to play in front of an audience encouraged RYKOH to devote himself to DJing.
At the age of 30 he took the initiative and bought his first equipment. A little later he was able to book his first club gig at the “Erdbeermund” in Karlsruhe. The likeable Rastatter quickly expanded his musical network and can now call himself a label member of Chris Lehmann’s “Sinope Recordings”.
High-quality productions from Adam Beyer’s “Drumcode” label play a major role in his style. He convinces on the floor with a solid 130 techno sound. With its timeless selection of tracks, RYKOH appeals to a wide audience.
His club experience as a DJ ranges throughout Germany, for example at the Gotec Club in Karlsruhe, the Salt & Pepper in Pforzheim and the Club Douala in Ravensburg.
