Tell us a bit about yourself:
I’m a Portuguese DJ and Producer. I’ve always been in love with electronic music from an early age, keeping up with the evolution of dance music.
When I was a teenager I liked to go to the clubs for watching the dj’s work for hours.
This is the biggest passion I have in life, I want to share it with you at the highest level.
I honestly hope to provide you pleasant moments through music ❤

What’s your favourite thing about Ibiza?
The whole environment, we can feel music in every corner, the vibe of the people is phenomenal, very positive and energetic. My biggest dream is to one day be able to perform in the main room of Pacha ibiza.
What’s the easiest thing about being a DJ?
The honest passion for music
And whats the hardest thing about being a DJ?
Having the constant ability to surprise the public, but when we do something with love, this ability naturally develops.
Best thing about Dance Music culture right now?
Music is life is part of us, it makes us feel unique sensations that stay in our memory. The best thing about house music is being able to share those same emotions and see the audience feel each beat with emotion. It is a unique connection that is unmatched by anything else. Music brings people together. As a song name… Music is the answer!
Worst thing about Dance Music culture right now?
Excessive consumption of alcohol and drugs that often happens in festivals and other places, causing electronic music events to be associated with the consumption of these substances
Why should listeners vote for you?
My love for Dance Music is honest and House Music has always played a very important role in my life. It’s something that makes me vibrate, feel happy and even cry when, for a certain moment in my life, when I was forced to put my career aside, hence my stage name being Phoenix, for having had the ability to overcome and be reborn to music. It’s never too late to start over or do something, as long as we do it with our heart and soul. My main bet goes to a remix of well-known tracks and even though they are from different genres, in the House Music version they make our heart beat at 128 bpm with happiness.
