Tell us a bit about yourself:

Table Manners is an electronic music artist from West Sussex (UK). Originally from South London, Table Manners was exposed to a variety of different cultures and musical genres from a young age. He draws on all of these memories and experiences when taking influence for his own music and has used them to mould his own unique DJ sets.

What DJs have had the most influence on you?

DJ EZ for his a technical style and endurance, Fedde Le Grand for his set structure and delivery, Claptone for the brand image a hidden music gems and Carl Cox for his contribution to the dance scene over the years and ability to craft amazing sets in across many genres.

You’re being put to death, but can listen to 1 last track before you die. What track do you choose?

Sky and Sand by Paul Kalkbrenner

What’s your favourite thing about Ibiza?

The orange glow and buzz around sunset, the energy of the another night of starting hearing new music and meeting new people.

What’s the easiest thing about being a DJ?

Being able to express yourself through music.

And whats the hardest thing about being a DJ?

Disrupted sleep and the pressure/ expectation to always party.

Best thing about Dance Music culture right now?

The comeback of all the parties and resilience of those in the scene to keep pushing on despite all of the disruption from the global epidemic.

Worst thing about Dance Music culture right now?

Often seeing the opinion of politics get in the way of people coming together and dancing.

Why should listeners vote for you?

It been a long journey of 15 plus years now, creating parties, finding new music and building up the DJ skills to move a dance floor. I am still pushing and passionate to share new music with clubbers.

Under The Booth

There are two sides to every DJ’s career. The music side, and the business side. Usually, when you see the typical ‘struggling artist’, it’s somebody that’s purely in the music side of their career and gives no thought to the other side.

If you want to spend your life in the music business, you need to have your music right - and you need to have your business right. MUSIC. BUSINESS.

You need to spend time in the booth, but you also need to tend to the other side.

We call this side… Under The Booth.
