Tell us a bit about yourself:
I’m Wicherson and I’m a Dutch Dj and producer from Rotterdam. By playing my own style of house and techno music, I get the dancefloor moving all night. From dusk till dawn.
How did you get into DJing?
I got into DJing when I first stepped into Pacha Ibiza with my dad. Never experienced music in such a magical way!
What DJs have had the most influence on you?
Andrea Oliva, Solomun and Âme. The combination of deep electronic basses and melodies make me want dance.
You’re being put to death, but you can listen to one last track before you die. What track do you choose?
Acumulee by Super Flu.
What’s your favourite thing about Ibiza?
Sleeping during the day at Las Salinas and going to a party (especially Pacha) after dinner!
What’s the easiest thing about being a DJ?
Enjoying work while making people / the crowd happy.
And what’s the hardest thing about being a DJ?
Digging for new music so my song selection is always different.
Best thing about Dance Music culture right now?
There are many parties currently. Every Genre has it’s own party somewhere.
Worst thing about Dance Music culture right now?
Everything is expensive! Especially the drinks.
