Hi, I’m Simon Powell, I’m from Durham, UK. I play tech-house & house music. MUSIC IS MY DRUG!
How did you get into DJing?
I started DJing when I was 16/17 playing makina and then for the last several months I bought a controller and started playing more at home but mixing tech house/house, melodic house & techno.
What DJs have had the most influence on you?
MaRLo, KREAM, Claptone

What’s your favourite thing about Ibiza?
EVERYTHING!
What’s the easiest thing about being a DJ?
Playing music to the people and seeing their smiles and dancing to your selection of tracks.
And what’s the hardest thing about being a DJ?
Picking tracks to please the crowd in case they don’t like what I play.
Best thing about Dance Music culture right now?
The tracks being released now are just quality. The drops and samples are incredible! I think it’ll just get better and better.
Worst thing about Dance Music culture right now?
When the crowd shouted Here, Here, Here We F**king Go on every mix. It’s cringey.
Why should listeners vote for you?
This would be my first ever experience Djing in a club and would love this to be my first experience, especially in the party capital of the world = IBIZA!
